Pro costs $20 a month. Some say its quota is about the same as the $100 ChatGPT plan, and it uses top-tier models. It is basically enough for light to moderate use.

Pro cannot use Fable, while Max can, but only up to half of the subscription quota. One person tested it and found that Max 20x's weekly quota is about 10 times that of Pro.

The gap is obvious for heavy use: someone used 16.4 billion tokens in five days and calculated that the $200 Max plan can consume about 50 billion tokens per month.

After someone's Max 20x account was banned, they switched to Pro and found it completely insufficient. They then subscribed to two more Pro plans in a row, which shows that under high-intensity use, Pro's quota runs short.

Some say the ban rate for Pro is dozens of times lower than for Max 5x and 20x. Others say that after a Pro account is banned, you can get a refund and subscribe again, and sometimes the full amount is refunded.
